Engineering Management Program

Listservers

As a service to the students in the Engineering Management Program and for students taking courses in Engineering Management, a listservice is provided for your use. When you subscribe to a list, email routed to that list will automatically be sent to your email address. You can send messages to the list and unsubscribe at any time. Faculty typically share email with their class in this way and general announcements are made through the EMP list. So, subscribe now and enjoy communications with your instructors, fellow students and others interested in Engineering Management!

Available Lists

  • EMP: Engineering Management Program at Florida Tech
  • Quality: The Quality Engineering and TQM course at Florida Tech
  • Project: The Project Engineering course at Florida Tech
  • Modeling: The Modeling and Simulation course at Florida Tech

  • To Subscribe to a List

To subscribe to a list, simply click here. You will be asked to email the listserver at Florida Tech. You can use any subject line you wish. In the body of the message place a single line containing the word 'subscribe' and the name of the list and then your name. For example to subscribe to the EMP list use:

    subscribe emp John Doe

Send your message in and you will receive confirmation that you are enrolled.

To Send Email to the List

To send email to list that you are subscribed to simply send your email to the list name at the engmgt.fit.edu domain. For example, to send email to the EMP list use the address:

    emp@engmgt.fit.edu

and use your email program as usual. The other lists have the same format.

    To Unsubscribe to a List

To unsubscribe to a list, click here and place a single line into the body of your email. The line should be "unsubscribe list'. For example to unsubscribe from the EMP list use the following line in your email:

    unsubscribe emp

You will be removed from the list and email will cease to be forwarded to you.

Note that the listserver may be down periodically for maintenance and that courteous use of this system is appreciated.
