Important:

In scale-up, all ratios must equal the "scale-up" ratio.  See page 233 of C & R.

Example:  D2/D1 = W2/W1 = H2/H1 = Z2/Z1  = -------> = S (scale-up ratio)

Note:

V2/V1 = S^3 ;  substitute for the volumes (pi, DT, H), substitute S for the ratios, and you should derive the same value.
