BIO:

I am a fifth year (ABD) doctoral student in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology program at the Florida Institute of Technology.  My advisor is Dr. Richard Griffith and my primary research interests include personnel selection, training, and personality. I am currently studying background checks, trait impulsivity, and counter productive work behaviors.  

At the moment my life is dedicated to school and work, but I like to kick back when I can.  It is nice living a few minutes away from the ocean!!

NEWS: 

• The Globe and Mail Newspaper in Canada took an interest in my research in an article entitled "Liar, liar, résumé on fire". Check it out!

• My paper was accepted in to this years SIOP conference - entitled "Liar, Liar: Examining Background Checks and Applicants Who Fail Them". 

• SIOP 2007 was a great success!! My poster entitled "The Effects of Behavioral Intentions and Opportunity to Fake" was rated as one of the top posters.

• I recently had the opportunity to help work on a chapter in a book entitled “A Closer Examination of Applicant Faking Behavior”. 

• TIME magazine quoted Dr. Griffith in an article entitled “Getting Wise To Lies”, about resume fraud.  I  took part in some fact finding and research for that piece.
