Course Description:  Principles of Biological Oceanography is a graduate-level course covering interdisciplinary topics related to biological processes that occur in the ocean.  Course material focuses on water-column processes that are not covered in Estuarine and Marine Benthos (OCN 5104).  We do not have a scheduled lab time for the class, but laboratory activities will be incorporated into the class and lab write ups will be included in the determination of final grades.  Students are also required to research and present summaries of current research in Biological Oceanography.
