Education

Florida Institute of Technology University Seal Ph.D. Candidate, Civil Engineering Department, Florida Institute of Technology. Since 2007. (Advisor. Prof. Jean-Paul Pinelli)

Visiting Ph.D. student, Civil Engineering Dept., The Johns Hopkins University, Since 2009

Master in Engineering Sciences, (Structures & Geotechnics), National University of Córdoba, Argentina. December 2006

Civil Engineer, National Technological University, Córdoba, Argentina. March 2003

Electromechanical Technician, ENET Nº1. Bell Ville, Argentina. December 1996.

Research

My research contributes to the Florida Public Hurricane Loss Model. I’m in FIT modeling the losses of the Florida commercial-building portfolio subjected to hurricanes. I’m studying exterior as well as interior damage of the aforementioned buildings. The results are sets of vulnerability curves that reflect the sensitivity of different buildings types to hurricane winds. Keywords: Catastrophe Modeling, Building Vulnerability, Interior Damage Propagation, Florida Public Hurricane Loss Commercial-Residential Model, FPHLM.
