Education

Florida Institute of Technology University Seal Ph.D. Candidate, Civil Engineering Department, Florida Institute of Technology.

      Since 2007

Master in Engineering Sciences, (Structures & Geotechnics), National University of

     Córdoba, Argentina. December 2006

Civil Engineer, National Technological University, Córdoba, Argentina. March 2003

Electromechanical Technician, ENET Nº1 “Antonio Graziano

Bell Ville, Córdoba, Argentina. December 1996.

Research

My research lies within the Florida Hurricane Loss Model. I’m in FIT modeling the damage to Florida’s commercial building portfolio. We do this by modeling probabilistically building’s damage. We

come up thus with vulnerabilities as a function of hurricane speeds. I’m posting more papers as soon as I have time. Keywords: Vulnerability, Catastrophe Risk Modeling, Interior Damage Propagation, Risk analysis.

Awards

§        Outstanding Ph.D. Student Award - Department of Civil Engineering. FIT. 2008
