
CSE2400
Course Objective: This is a course in probability and statistics for computer science students. The emphasis throughout the course is on developing the skills needed to read and apply key results, to solve problems typical of those encountered by Computer Scientists, and to present the solutions logically with the appropriate analytical techniques, graphs, and mathematical notation.
Prerequisites: Students are required to have had at least two semesters of Calculus.
