Solar Music Fair
Food, Water, and Restrooms

The Florida Tech has several food concessions. A large lunch buffet (approximately $7-$8) will be open to fair attendees at Evans Hall, located north of University Boulevard and north of the Botanical Gardens. Cross University Blvd. and proceed past Gleason Auditorium, the Link Building, the Evans Library. Take the sign-marked entrance to the Botanical Gardens trail and proceed north over the small bridge past the pond (with waterwheel), over a second bridge, and up the steps some 100 feet north. The cafeteria is up the steps on your right. (There may be an elevator from the lower floor, but I'm not certain now.)

Handicapped access to the Evans area is ~ 200 feet farther to the west side of the Denius Student Center (a.k.a., the SUB). Take the wooden bridge to the dormitory quadrangle and turn right (east) to Evans Hall. There are also small snack bars in some buildings.

Nearby Restaurants (around the corner of University and Babcock from the Fair):

Some local restaurants are located in the Plaza on the southwest corner of Babcock St. and University Blvd. The Mobile gasoline station has miscellaneous snack food, sandwiches, and soft drinks. The Middle Eastern Aromas restaurant (second floor) has sandwich wraps, etc. The Mighty Mushroom has sandwiches, pizza, and alcoholic beverages. The Taiwan restaurant has a variety of Chinese food.

  Water and Restrooms:

Clemente Center (near the stage), the Olin Engineering Complex (near the center stairs), and the Olin Physical Sciences Building have drinking fountains and restrooms inside.

Should you have other questions, check with our staff at the information table.
