acknowledgments, and references. Do not use single spacing anywhere! Authors are strongly encouraged to submit their manuscripts electronically, preferably in TeX or LaTeX formats.

(2) Headings. Follow the form of this issue.

(3) Title. Brief and to the point. It should inform the readers of the subject of the paper.

(4) Byline. Include author's name, name of institution, department, address, e-mail address (if available) and zip code.

(5) Abstract. A concise and lucid digest of the paper should be provided, preferably in one paragraph. It should not include any formulas and citations. We encourage the authors not to exceed 50 words.

(6) Introduction. The introduction (Section 1) should be concise and offer only that information necessary to orient the reader to the purpose and scope of the paper. It should state the reasons for the work, with brief reference to previously published work (by the authors as well as other researchers)
on the subject.

(7) Results and Discussion. This is the main part of the paper and it can be written in several sections with titles numbered by 2,3 etc. The author(s) should give a clear, concise account of the findings and should explain, extend, or contradict publications. Data, if presented, should be given in a form that is brief and clear. Limit discussion to the subject at hand.

(8) Acknowledgments. This should be as brief as possible.

(9) References. Each entry must be cited in the text by author(s) and number or by number alone. For works by three or more authors use NAME et al. All references should listed in their alphabetic order. Use the following style:
Journal: [1] Arnold, A.B., Title of the article, Journ. Appl. Math., 9:1 (1996), 37-56.
Book: [2] Johnson, B.S., Title of the Book, 2nd ed., Academic Press, Orlando, Florida, 1994.

(10) Tables, Graphs, and Illustrations. Unless the paper is submitted electronically with tables and figures included or attached (in the form of ps or other formats), hardcopies of tables must be typed on separate sheets and attached graphs, illustrations, and other pertinent artwork should be made in
a camera ready form and will be used for direct reproduction. In addition to a hardcopy of the artwork, it is desirable (but not mandatory) to attach a PC diskette with files of the artwork. Each table and graph must be cited in the text.

(11) Page Charges, Proofs and Reprints. Authors will be charged $6.00 per page, provided their institutions can pay or they have grant support; otherwise, publication charges will be waved. Proofs sent to authors should be returned to the Editor with corrections within three days after receipt.
Acceptance of the paper entitles the author to 10 free reprints. Additional reprints can be ordered from the publisher when signing the copyright agreement.
