Past Meetings
Two things of interest to all members:
It's been a while; but we're happy to announce our next AMS Activity!Stephanie and Brittany, in collaboration with Liz Hart from MTS-SNAME, have created a Beach Clean that they are trying to branch out to everyone under the DMES "Umbrella". It will be Sunday, April 18th, from 11am to 1pm at either Paradise Beach or Spessard-Holland Beach. There will be an email reminder from at least one of the list serves. Also, thanks to Sarah Collins - Because of her, we have Chapter Shirt Designs nearly ready to be taken to the printers! The design is the "Got Cape" The 50% Chance shirts are awaiting an email confirmation because they will be acting as a fundraiser, but there will be an email sent out to everyone when we can start taking orders. There will be an easily forwardable email about these shirts, too, so you can pass them on to any of your MET friends at another school or at work! (We've already had interest from UCAR about them!) FITSCAMS Meeting
FITSCAMS meeting was held on Tuesday February 9, 2010 at 6:30 in Link E250. Business discussed including finalizing t-shirt designs, and other forms of fund raising. One suggestion for fundraising was to have a car wash. Other ideas for fundraising are greatly appreciated. Other business discussed was filling the open officer positions. Sarah Collins now holds the position of Secretary and Donna Vigneri now holds the position of Historian. The officer positions of Treasurer and Fundraising Chair are still open, if you are interested in filling either of these positions please contact Stephanie Zoutenbier at szoutenb@my.fit.edu. Some announcements included discussing future meeting times and dates. If you are interested in attending FITSCAMS but were unable to make Tuesday's meeting due to other conflicts then please contact Stephanie Zoutenbier at szoutenb@my.fit.edu for future planning of meeting times. If you are interested in helping with a Beach cleanup on Saturday Feb. 27, 2010 contact Stephanie Zoutenbier for further information.
